Letterpress Rosary
Blown glass beads, strung into a rosary, are etched with multilingual alphabets. The end of the rosary, a mass of silk yarn, is dipped in ink. To begin the ritual, the first hand grasps the silk, getting flooded with ink. As the rosary is used, the first hand continues staining each bead on the rosary, subsequently cleaning itself. The second hand wipes the ink from each bead, staining itself, while writing a multilingual poem.
