How to Handwash

The How to Handwash series is a set of 9 icons depicting sacred images for devotional purposes. The small and intimate works frame the 9 gestures of Hand Washing from WHO’s How to Handwash guidelines, widely publicised during the COVID-19 Pandemic. These gestures are captured within my own body and framed within fused glass panels. The translucence of the panels allows the figures to float in a sea of colourful light.
